Tred-Safe™ is a high-strength, corrosion resistant, fire-rated, fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) roof panel produced with resilient polyester resin specifically developed to be safe and walkable.
Resoute's FRP composite panels are designed to withstand the extremely corrosive environments often associated with galvanizing/pickling operations, pulp and paper mills, chemical plants, steel mills, metal treatment facilities, chlorine cell buildings, cooling towers, wastewater treatment plants and a host of other industrial building operations.

Introduced in the early 1980's, Tred-Safe™ roof panels have gained wide acceptance by architects, engineers, contractors and plant personnel - especially for applications where a truly walkable translucent or opaque FRP panel is required.
Because you can walk on them, Tred-Safe™ panels have the proven benefit of safely supporting concentrated loads of normal foot traffic. In addition, the owner has the assurance that their personnel and maintenance crews can access the roof safely. Tred-Safe™ is also ideal as a siding panel where long spans are required or high impact resistance is needed.
Tred-Safe™ incorporates the same isophthalic polyester resin as Resolite's high performance FS25A and CRFS25A products. The resin is intermixed with a five-layer combination of reinforcement including bi-directional continuous strand woven and chopped strand fiberglass. Unlike straight "layered" glass, continuous strand woven reinforcing provides the best resistance to fastener pullover, which is the panel failure mode in high wind conditions.
Tred-Safe™ panels are available in two standard profiles- 7.2 x 1.5" ribbed configuration and 4.2 x 1-1/16" corrugated. The 4.2 corrugated profile may be used with or to replace corrugated cement panels, since both panels have identical configurations.
Resolite Tred-Safe™ DECK is the smart choice for the highly corrosive environments found in pulp and paper mills, galvanizing plants, salt operations, metal processing and chemical plants. Tred-Safe™ DECK is the ideal replacement for old wood decks, spalling concrete channel slabs or other deteriorated systems. It can be used either as a support for a built-up or single ply roofing system, or as a form for poured reinforced concrete slabs.
The unique combination of fiberglass reinforcement built into Tred-Safe™ DECK provides an exceptionally strong unit. Building owners and installers can be assured that Tred-Safe™ DECK provides a safe working platform and can be used in many of the same applications as light gauge metal roof deck.
Resolite's Tred-Safe™ Deck is also available to meet Factory Mutual Approval requirements for Class 1 and Class I-90 windstorm classifications when used in insulated roof assemblies.
